Yet Sustainability is based on the scientific fact that all human life and activity (including economy) occurs within the limitations of planet Earth.
The notion of sustainability is at least 30 years old, appearing in the Brundtland report in 1987 as “sustainable development is a development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
